My dear cousin Reggie…We hadn’t spoken in so many years and in April we caught up for over an hour all the way back to my childhood. I thank God for that call because only He knew we were saying goodbye. The foundation of who I am was learned in the home that raised you in Sarasota, Florida. I have carried those lessons with me my entire life. Understanding what it meant to be a Major and the responsibility that came with carrying that name. Thank you for leading by example and thank you for the laughs and memories we shared on the phone that day. Sleep well cousin, I Love you… Diane
Tex,
Duke was always larger than life to me growing up and it was the same when I saw the two of you last year! He was one of the kindest people and always greeted me with a big hug and smile! Duke will forever be missed but will me in our hearts forever. You and Ramon will always be in my thoughts and prayers and I pray God will continue to comfort your hearts in the days to come.
My deepest condolences to the family especially to my classmate Carolyn. May the strength of from God sustain you all during this difficult this time. God bless and keep you.
Hey buddy,
I was sad and shocked to hear the news as we just caught up not too long ago. I’ll never forget some of our conversations or cutting up when time allowed. You will be missed.
I’m still in disbelief. I know he’s up there with my Daddy and Gary, and I can just imagine the three of them having the best time together. I will always treasure the forehead kisses and the memory of dancing with him—cowboy hat and all—at my 50th birthday party.
He may be gone from this earthly place, but he will never be gone from my heart or my memories.
I love you, Carolyn and Ramon. I’m here for you, always.
