When I say LOST FOR WORDS over here crying it’s like a knife stuck me in my heart when I just heard the news. I’m sick right now because you did not deserve this. Our last conversation in April was to keep God first in everything you do. That will forever be our foundation in this construction game. We are thankful for the 4 years of business knowledge that you gave to us, we are thankful for the opportunities that were given to us, we are thankful that you poured into us the knowledge and you continued to push us and told us to never give up. I could write a book about these last 4 years but I will instead continue to make sure that the foundation lives on in your name. The Home Depot trips will never be the same. Running into you would always brighten our day no matter the day we were having. We would stand in Home Depot and you would ask what we had going on and we would tell you. You told us to start demo because that’s where is money is and guess what? We completed our first demo a week ago and I was going to call you to tell you but you wouldn’t even picked up your phone because you had already been summons to return home. Your bible stories will be missed. They definitely took out a good one. We are so sorry that this happened and our prayers go out to your Wife(that I wish we could have met) and you family. You will forever have a place in our heart. 💔🫶🏽💔🫶🏽
So sadden to hear of your passing Rodney, it has been several years since I last saw you but it feel like it was just yesterday that we were walking projects, talking about real estate investing and all our plans. How we were going to take over the industry in the DFW area. Thank you for your support and encouragement, it meant a lot to me as a black woman in the industry. I handled Rodney’s insurance for many, many, years. 20 years to be exact. We always had a lot of fun, and most of our conversations were always related to business deals that we were working on. We loved sharing our experiences with each other.I don’t look at Rodney’s passing as death, I look on it that he went to another level of life.
