Her Life Story
Joan Blondell Frazier Bromfield was born July 20th, 1952 in Fort Worth Texas to parents LV Spears and John Thomas Frazier. Growing up she confessed her love and devotion to Jesus Christ at an early age and was a member of the Worth Hills Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. K.K. Wells. She was the third oldest of 9 children and known for having a bright smile and a big heart. Joan attended Fort Worth ISD public schools including the historic M L Kirkpatrick High School. After high school she went to pursue a professional career in driving that would span over 25 years. From school buses to 18 wheelers Joan would take that smile and hit the road traveling across the nation when given the opportunity, even at a moments notice. Following in her mother’s footsteps she was a faithful member of the Order of the Eastern Star and loved going to conferences traveling with her sisters worldwide. After retiring from driving she began working in the medical field as a home health nurse aide and CNA for Professional Caretakers LLC. Joan also shared a love for children and on June 24th,1969 she gave birth to Valencia R Frazier followed by a son named Courtney LaMonte Frazier on September 25th, 1970. Later in life she met her life long best friend Charles J. Bromfield and their love was sealed in holy matrimony officially on October 15th, 2000.
In the later years of her life she became a member of the Tabernacle of Praise Family Church in Fort Worth under the tutelage of her nephew Richard D Moore Sr. and it was there where she truly find her calling in the kingdom of God. Fascinated by praise dance and the Worship Arts ministry Joan would travel to different workshops learning and managing the T. O. P. Praise dance group.
