Preceded in death by parents, John Aaron Scott and Georgia Ann Young Scott Cobb; her brother John Aaron Scott, Jr.; sisters Beverly Ann Trotter and Johnnye Vernita Hunter.

Norma grew up in the Historic Riverside neighborhood and graduated from the Historic I. M. Terrell High School.

Norma’s career in the airline industry afforded her the freedom to travel throughout the country. During her retirement years, she enjoyed little Zoe’s companionship and visits from family members.

In her life, she showered her nephews and nieces with her generosity. Old westerns and the Dallas Cowboys were her favorite leisurely pastimes, and she never turned down good barbecue.
