  1. Michelle Monroe Truitt was an amazing Mother. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters and she loved them unconditional. Michelle was beautiful in and out and had a contagious smile that lighted up the whole room. She had a peaceful spirit and a close relationship with the Lord.
    She will be greatly miss.

Zelda Michelle (Monroe) Truitt was born on December 9, 1967, in Chillicothe, Texas to Lucille Monroe Stillwell and Jimmy Stevenson. She was adopted by Henry and Luella Johnson. She is the second child to take a seat at the heavenly welcome table with her family.

Zelda was raised in church and accepted Christ at an early age. She graduated from Rider Highschool in 1986. With dreams of success, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in general business from the
University of Texas and her master’s degree in business administration from the University of
Phoenix. Zelda mastered the art of an Advisory in the field of education. She influenced may students to pursue their education and obtain skilled trades. Upon transitioning in her career, she was promoted to Sr. Advisor for A Place for Mom where she assisted loved ones with transitional housing for elderly parents.

Most referred to her as Michelle and her work family caller her Mimi. Her heart was bigger than she was, always having an open door and willing to assist those in need. With her passion for culinary arts, she loved to grill. She had the ability to bring family together and fill their hearts with love and
laughter.

There is no doubt that she was the life of the party. From traveling, swinging out, line dancing, hosting holidays and epic pool parties she was forever young at heart. She had an unforgettable sense of humor and an artistic craft for singing and entertaining. Her meticulous characteristics provided her with the knack of maintaining the foundation of family. She never met a stranger, and if she considered you a friend you became family.
