In Loving Memory of Mark T. Gray, II
Mark T. Gray II, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on May 13, 2025, at the age of 35. He was born May 21, 1989, to Mark T. Gray, Sr. and Joanne Covington.
Mark graduated from Colonia High School in 2007. After graduating, Mark began his career as an over-the-road truck driver with Werner Enterprises. His work took him across the country, where he built lasting memories and touched countless lives along the way. Mark also enjoyed leisurely travel which led him to visit countries such as Columbia and Thailand. Eventually, he made Texas his home in 2017, where he continued to bring light and laughter to those around him.
Mark had an unforgettable personality-full of humor, warmth, and charm. He had a special gift for making people laugh, and his presence could brighten even the darkest of days. To know Mark was to love him. His energy was contagious, and he never met a stranger.
Mark was preceded in death by his beloved younger brother, Carrington “CJ” Gray, as well as his grandparents.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Joanne Covington of Texas, and father, Mark T. Gray Sr. of Florida. He is also survived by his two brothers, Tyrone Morgan of Virginia and Ryan Gray of Florida, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss him.
Mark was especially close to his cousins, most of whom were around his age. They didn’t just grow up together, they grew up as best friends, creating a lifetime of shared memories, laughter, and love.
