  2. When Tomorrow Starts Without Me
    By David Romano

    When tomorrow starts without me
    And I’m not here to see
    If the sun should rise and find your eyes

    All filled with tears for me

    I wish you wouldn’t cry
    The way you did today
    While thinking of the many things
    We did not get to say

    I know how much you love me
    As much as I love you

    Each time that you think of me
    I know you will miss me too

    When tomorrow starts with out me

    Please try to understand

    That an angel came and called my name

    And took me by the hand

    The angel said my place was ready
    In heaven far above

    And that I would have to leave behind
    All those I dearly love

    But when I walked through Heaven’s Gates

    I felt so much at home

    When God looked down and smiled at me

    From his golden throne

    He said this is eternity
    And all I promised you
    Today for life on earth is done
    But here it starts a new

    I promise no tomorrow
    For today will always last
    And since each day’s the exact same way

    There is no longing for the past

    So when tomorrow starts without me

    Do not think we’re apart

    For every time you think of me

    Remember I’m right here in your heart

  3. When we last spoke he said I have never forgotten you teaching me Psalms 91 and personalizing it! Wish I could have had more teaching moments with him!!!

    Psalms 91 (Message Translation)
    1-13 You who sit down in the High God’s presence, spend the night in Shaddai’s shadow Aurdie,
    Aurdie Say this: “God, you’re my refuge.
    I trust in you and I’m safe!”
    That’s right—he rescues you Aurdie from hidden traps, shields you from deadly hazards.
    His huge outstretched arms protect you Aurdie — under them you’re perfectly safe; his arms fend off all harm.
    Fear nothing—not wild wolves in the night, not flying arrows in the day,
    Not disease that prowls through the darkness, not disaster that erupts at high noon. Even though others succumb all around, drop like flies right and left, no harm will even graze you.You’ll stand untouched Aurdie, watch it all from a distance, watch the wicked turn into corpses.
    Yes, Aurdie because God’s your refuge,
    the High God your very own home,
    Evil can’t get close to you, harm can’t get through the door, Aurdie.
    He ordered his angels to guard you Aurdie wherever you go.
    If you stumble, they’ll catch you; their job is to keep you Aurdie from falling.
    You’ll walk unharmed among lions and snakes, and kick young lions and serpents from the path.

    14-16 “If you’ll hold on to me for dear life,” says God,
    “I’ll get you out of any trouble, Aurdie
    I’ll give you the best of care
    if you’ll only get to know and trust me.
    Call me and I’ll answer Aurdie, be at your side in bad times;
    I’ll rescue you, then throw you a party.
    I’ll give you a long life, give you a long drink of salvation Aurdie!”

    In Jesus Name! Amen, Shalom, Aurdie Nelson Evans. Jr.! God Knows!

  4. Aurdie always kept a smile on his face. There was never a dull moment, whenever you were around him. Continuous prayers condolences to the family Evans family. Rest well Aurdie in Jesus name

  5. By Mat Larkin

    Forgive me friend, when I start this verse
    if it’s done with a tear in my eye;
    The time has come for better or worse;
    we must say “good-bye”.
    I prayed each day our time would last,
    we’d be together forever free;
    But all things must pass beneath the grass
    on their way to eternity.

    Parting rarely comes with ease,
    yet follows each hello or greeting;
    Seasons spent together are reduced to memories,
    the time we share is fleeting.
    People, things, times and places;
    touch us where we let them;
    Memories fill with fading faces;
    know them, love them, forget them.

    Now we’ll walk different ways
    in search of something new;
    Yet as I travel through my days,
    I will oft remember you.
    Your eyes and smile marked me,
    your voice moved me too;
    Dreams we shared set me free,
    I owe so much to you.

    After Earth and before the End
    may we learn the answers why;
    Find each other once again;
    and dance across the sky.
    Recalling days from younger years;
    daring deeds we did of old;
    Laughing at forgotten fears
    we’ll again be young and bold.

    Long good-byes and teary eyes
    test the heart and spirit;
    Is anything worse than a loved-one’s cries;
    When they hurt and we can hear it?
    Come embrace me short and sweet,
    then we’ll turn and walk away;
    In memory keep this last retreat,
    with words we cannot say.

    Forgive me friend, as I end this piece,
    if it’s done with tears in my eyes;
    Our time together here must cease;
    I’ll search for you in the skies.
    And if our paths don’t cross again
    before our time on Earth is through;
    Know my loving prayer, Dear Friend…

    “May God watch over you”.

    This is not goodbye. Until we meet again.

    With Love Aurdie Nelson Evans Jr.

  8. “Lord, dry those tears with Your sweet words of comfort and cheer. Turn their sorrow into joy as only You can do. Remind those who are grieving, Lord, that You are the great Comforter and Counselor, and that You never leave us or forsake us.”
