Benjamin’s deep-rooted belief in the power of education led him to a career in teaching, impacting the lives of countless students at various schools in the Fort Worth Independent School District.
As a loving husband to Olive for 56 years, a devoted father to Eleanor and late children John and Cheryl, and a cherished grandfather, Benjamin’s family was the center of his universe. He found immense joy in spending time with his loved ones and imparting wisdom and guidance to the next generations.
The life of Dr. Benjamin Barend Jacks will be honored and celebrated in a funeral service to commemorate his remarkable journey, at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church on October 11, 2024, at 11:00 am. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Skyvue Memorial Gardens, this moment serving as a final tribute to a man who touched the lives of so many.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known him. As we say our final goodbyes, let us remember the impact Benjamin had on each of our lives and the love he shared with those around him.
