Andrew D.S. Kirkland is the esteemed Founder and Funeral Director in Charge of Tree of Life. As a First Generation Licensed Funeral Director, he has demonstrated exceptional dedication and leadership in the field. Mr. Kirkland served as the Chaplain of the Fort Worth/Tarrant County Funeral Directors Association from 2012 to 2022, and subsequently as its President from 2022 to 2024. He is also an active member of the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, Inc.
In addition to his contributions to funeral service, Mr. Kirkland holds the position of Executive Pastor at Greater Saint Mark Ministries in Fort Worth, Texas. His mentorship is highly regarded, earning him the affectionate title of “Thee Mortuary Master” from those he serves both locally and beyond.
Parish E. Lowery

Parish E. Lowery serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Tree of Life. As a First Generation Licensed Funeral Director, his expertise in management has significantly contributed to the business growth of Tree of Life. Mr. Lowery is an active member of both the Fort Worth/Tarrant County Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, Inc.
Beyond his role in funeral service, Mr. Lowery holds the esteemed position of President of the Baptist Ministers Union of Tarrant County and Vicinity. He is affectionately known within the mortuary as “Pastor” and is recognized in the community as “Thee Professional FD.” Additionally, he serves as the Senior Pastor of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
