  1. I will never forget Big Mama she was always a sweet lady since the time I met her when I moved to TX cause of hurricane Katrina. She took me/my husband in like we were part of the family and for that she’ll always be our hearts 💕 sleep Big Mama and get your rest we love you but God loves you best. ⚘️❤️🙏

  9. Sending my love and condolences to the family. Big Mama I have so many memories from a young girl to a woman watching you nurture and raise several generations. So grateful I got to see you this year and we had wonderful conversations. We could sit for hours and talk. You made the best pecan pies for the holidays and always saved me a slice. My grandmother loved you so much such a beautiful strong woman. You lived a beautiful life 94 years. Thank you for everything from Burton Street to New York love always and forever Gladys 🕊️
