On Christmas day, December 25, 1943, Muriel Elaine was born in Devonshire Parish, Bermuda, to William and Alice Easton. She was the last of eight children, born to the Easton couple.

Muriel received her education at St. George’s Secondary and went on to work at the Kindley Air Force Base in Bermuda. That’s where she met LeRoy King, an American serviceman, and had two children, Lesley Elaine and Tracy Lee.

She married Johnnie Charles Marshall, also an American serviceman, on November 2, 1969. Zena Beth Ann was born, soon after the young family was transferred to Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, Texas.

Muriel’s pastimes included bowling, fishing, dominoes, the card game ‘tonk’ and shopping. She enjoyed watching football and was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan. Muriel also loved spending time with her family and cherished friends.

She was a longtime member of Pilgrim Galilee Christian Church, under the leadership of Pastor Newton Braziel.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice Easton; brothers, William ‘Yummy’ Easton, Sinclair ‘Buck’ Easton and sisters, Jean Smith and Mabel Robinson.
