I cannot fathom the loss of a child. I can only pray for your peace and strength. Even in the midst of your personal storms, God has a firm grip on you. Call on Him and quote the Word in your times of need.
“I call on You in the day of my distress, for You will answer me.” Psalms 86:7
George Mueller of Bristol England in 1870 after the passing of his wife, preached these words at her memorial service after the Lord gave him the strength.
“I miss her in numberless ways, and shall miss her yet more and more. But as a child of God, and as a servant of the Lord Jesus, I bow, I am satisfied with the will of my Heavenly Father, I seek by perfect submission to His holy will to glorify Him, I kiss continually the hand that has thus afflicted me.”
