My Aunt Thelma. You have always been consistent with the way you lived your life and gave your love. I remember being a very little girl and playing in your yard weekends during the summers and being chased down by your dog, James. As much as you loved James you let him know who we were to you and he didn’t have a chance if he bit us!!! Those were the days. You are an amazing woman of God so I know exactly where you are right now!!! I love you and will forever cherish memories both old and new. Thank you for always loving me and my siblings. Thank you for always being the same precious you!!!
My sweet Aunt Thelma,
You will truly be missed. You have always made me and my family feel extra special. You have always made sure I was not forgotten and that I was part of the family. Even though I was raised and currently reside in California, you and Aunt Lily always kept in touch and looked out for me. I appreciate and love you to the fullest. Reggie, Stephanie, and Jackie sends their eternal love as well. You have my heart.
Thank you for being you. I am so proud to be a Lane.
Love you always,
La Freda Lane-Adkins

Dear Aunt Thelma,
I had the pleasure of meeting you only twice, of course through my wife Renee. I am so blessed that I met you. You made me feel like family the very first day we met. I will never forget your generosity, hospitality, kindness and lastly that warm smile of yours. During the course of my lifetime, there are a small few people that I consider special that bring tears to my eyes hearing about their passing. Aunt Thelma you were special to me more than you know. You will forever be in my heart. Truly an Angel. R.I.P. Aunt Thelma
