2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. To my cousins – I just want you to know that we are praying for you and the family. It’s always tough to have a loved one leave – even when we know they are in God’s presence. There’s a different kind of hurt in our hearts when mothers go to heaven . . . because they gave birth to us, fed us, raised us, and most of all loved us. I just want to encourage you to remember just how much your mother loved her family and allow this same love to bring comfort to your hearts. I Corinthians 13:13 Now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. Love — Larry & your Braziel Family

A Beautiful Black Butterfly lights beside us like a bright beam of sun. And in that moment, it’s Grace and Glory belong to the world. As that Beautiful Black Butterfly would have it ~ it flies on again, and though we wish it could have stayed a while longer…we feel so lucky to have seen it at all.
Beautiful Black Butterfly you touched my life in a very special way… When I needed a friend, she fluttered ever so majestically. Unsteadily were my feet, her smile gave confidence to continue the path. Like a true treasure her words of wisdom gave courage to meet the day.
Thank you, Mother Evelyn Faye (Briscoe) Alford for your flying into our lives as for a time so brief yet still providing us with that needed bright beam of sunlight.
Now relax your wings and find your Eternal Rest with our Heavenly Father ~ Amen.
