I hate to hear of Mrs. Doris Jean Guy sudden passing which is also my middle name (Jean) I am a neighbor of her sister Yolanda from across the street I had only seen Jean a few times in her presence I could tell she was a very thoughtful loving person so close and kind to her relatives and others as well I always see her along with her other sister Glenda visiting their sister Yolanda across the street almost daily I am just keeping in prayer that this awful disease one day hopefully soon enough will be over it have taken so many lives and also cause an inconvenience gathering of the people (I’m glad I got to meet her and know this is not the last I am believing I will meet her again one day in heaven for eternity!
Sending love and condolences to the family during this difficult time. Doris and I was long time friends. She was the same sweet tell it like it is person through out our relationship. I will remember your awesome smile. Rest my friend until we meet again.
Mrs Doris meant alot to me. I met her 7 years ago. She called me her “barbie doll”. She also loved my family dearly. Even though she only met some of my family. She chose my daughter to be her God daughter. I will truly miss you. Love you Mrs Doris๐๐๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Mrs. Doris was the sweetest lady I had ever met moving from West Texas. She was welcoming helpful and very loving. There was not a time I could call her and she didn’t have a solution along with a laugh for me. Mrs. Doris left a very loving and lasting impression on everyone she came in contact with and wonderful memories of her. It was an honor to be a supervisor to such a wonderful caring hardworking woman such as Mts. Doris and she will forever be missed. She was more like family to myself and I called her my grandmother and she kindly agreed and accepted. Love you and will miss you forever Mrs. Doris may you Rest In Heavenly Peaceโค๐๐พโค๐๐พ
Condolences to the family! Take your rest Jeanie Girl and we will see you in the morning! Love from the Jones and Taylor families of Danner St.
I came to be friends with Ms. Doris through my mom. She always had the kindest words and gestures. My family and I are saddened by the loss. We are sending continued prayers and love. Before she passed she started calling me her “God daughter ” I hope she knows the love was mutual.
Doris was a wonderful and loving person, we went to Dunbar Elementary and High School together. She worked diligently with the Class of 1967 in all our reunion activities. We will surely miss her spirit and immaculate style. Rest well my friend.
Ms. Doris was a wonderful, lovely and caring lady. She loved both of by girls and they loved her deeply. She would plan meals and activities my girls liked, taught them to be polite and kind to everyone. A very good teacher by example. My family will miss her. My condolences to her family and loved ones.
