Elder Walter is remembered for his sincere concern to live a saved life in Christ Jesus. He was always the example of a man walking in the will of God. He served God, his family, his Church family, and the COGIC family as a minister & officer. It’s always sad when a journey is ended. But, it’s a joy knowing that the final rest is ushered into the arms of God. Elder Walter labored in the Lord’s work – preaching the gospel and video recording some of the most memorable events, services, ceremonies, and family keepsakes. His life’s work is remembered and appreciated; even in his absence. God is consistently faithful; and so was Elder Walter.
It was a joy to know him, such a wonderful man of God
A job well done rest in take your rest
When your journey is completed and to God you have been true…..fair and bright your home in glory your raptured soul will view. God has prepared a home for Supt Walter way up above in the heavens to live in his present forever. It’s good to always go home, for home is where the heart is. Supt Walter had a heart for God! A man after God’s on heart. Welcome home Supt. Walter! Well Done! You made it!
My heart goes out to the Walter family. I met Pastor Walter and his family in 1976. Pastor Walter is one of the “Best” men I’ve ever met. I loved him and I have immense respected for who he was and what he stood for as a Pastor and a Leader. I always had deep admiration for First Lady Walter, who is truly a treasure in the Bibleway family. The world is a lessor place without Pastor Walter.
My deepest respect,
Kenneth Blow
My Pastor for many many years. I started attending Bibleway when I was 12 yrs old growing up with the family my heart is very heavy. I know the Lord doesn’t make mistakes and I know Elder Walters are no longer suffering but I have always felted he would always be here. Mama V , I love you and the girls and the family. I will pray for strength for all of us. Be blessed
