I was so blessed the day God brought this wonderful human being into my life. There are so many words to describe him. Loving, caring, funny, so funny, giving just to list a few, but most of all he was a role model to everyone. Love you most! Am going to miss you so very much!
As a first year teacher, he showed me the ropes. He led by compassion, humor and exceptional cooking. Whenever I saw him, he was the most upbeat and pleasant person in the room. He was a Saint among men and he will be missed very much.
RIP Mr.Evans and you was really great guy and you was always hard on my son and i can’t believe that you is no longer here on earth but you will definitely be miss by a lot of people..
The kids said we were like their school Mom and Dad. And we certainly were. and as kids do, they would go behind my back, or his, and re-ask to try to get their way. He and I worked so closely, side by side for 10 years. We didn’t always agree, and that’s to be understood. He taught me much. He had a heart of gold. He saved me from harm many a time. The memories of laughter, sharing our love for the tough kids, the meals he brought to school, how he could prove to the kids that not all adults were bad, so many things… I could go on and on….I loved him, the very best person I have ever worked with. My prayers go to his family, Bobbie, and Little Disco, whom I had the pleasure of knowing. Rest in peace gentle giant. Heaven gained another angel.
