Well, who would’ve thought you to leave us so soon. Shelton I’m thanking God for allowing you to come into Me and my children’s life. Those days I spent traveling every day that you were allowed visitation you needed not to question cause I was there Me and the kids. We did all his time with him and together !!. When I received word that you had departed from us I was devastated. My mind went straight back to them days when we would come and visit you in Seagoville. I did that time with you until your release date. Every time vistation was up you knew me and kids were there. Those was some long years and memories were made. When I met you u had no children so you immediately took on the responsibility of helping me with mines. I remember tellin you I come with luggage and you said what. I said I have two children GaShon and Gary. You would come and pick the kids up and ride them with you as if they were yours. I would call and you would come through no matter how big or small the problem was you were there. We always said even if the relationship DIDNT work we would remain friends. We both respected what each had going on. Til date we still were just as close. We DIDNT speak on daily but we knew we both were just a phone call away. Not to many knew about us until they would see us . I’m going to miss callin you to come to family gatherings and most definitely going to miss seeing you at the Basketball games. When the kids were in school you supported them aswell even throughout adulthood you still supported if needed. When mom was sick in the hospital you came in support. When she left this earthly 🌎 world you supported. You always was a supporter to whatever I had goin on. I’m grateful to know you were a child of God. So no question of were you going! You are my angels who will continue to follow my path everyday and watch of Me and the kids and the grans. I’m going to miss hearing that ugly laugh you had. Only we know what we had. Today I’m grateful to say yes I’ve known you for 30 plus years. We even worked together. My, my, my what an experience that was. We worked side by side daily and hourly at Dairypak. We use to argue like we were married. You would always try to tell Me how to drive my forklift, when to go on break so that we could eat together. You was just to controling but I knew and you knew how far that would go. So you made sure everyone knew that we were dating ( thought that was funny too🤣. We made a lot of memories together. I will look back at photos and continue to laugh cause we had good& Badd times. This is so hard for me to except that you no longer here. But God has prepared Me. I Loved u then and as always we would remind each other of the love we once shared. Rest on my SPUD as my children would call you. Their SPUD. God makes no mistakes and continue to watch over us until we meet again Memories, Memories I will always have. Thanks for being a lifetime friend.😭
