Bette Levy, affectionately known as “Ms. Levy” or simply “mama” left this earth peacefully on march 26th 2018. As the second born of 10 she became a nurturer, a giver & a comforter early on. She was a willing helper to her mother Eula. Confessing her life to Christ at a young age, she served faithfully at Church of The Living God Temple 93. Bette, attended Medill Elementary & Crane High school, upon completing school she worked for Chicago Youth Centers where she began to pursue a well loved & necessary career in Nursing.

She & Willie Jones became parents to her only birth son Willie Levy. As the diva she was “Ms. Levy” spared no expense on her appearance or home, always keeping herself lavish. She never knew the word no when helping a loved one, and would give you the shirt off her back. As we know “mama” suffered a great loss in 2014 but she never let that detour her from keeping her promise of remaining a “diva” & helping others. As we mourn the loss of her physical we rejoice in her spiritual to know that she is finally
walking once again on the road paved with gold.
