On February 10, 1969, a baby girl was born in New York, to the parentage of Vernon Hudson, Sr. and Joycelyn “Redd” Hudson. Jeanette and her parents relocated to Texas, where she attended the Fort Worth Independent School District.

Jeanette loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved her children, grandchildren and she loved her family. Most of all, Jeanette loved the Lord and going to church. Her life represented her faith in God, for she would often say, “God got me.” She was a member of Charity Church, until her health failed and wouldn’t permit her to travel.

On Monday, March 26, 2018, Jeanette Hudson answered the call of her Lord, in the comfort of her home, with her family by her side. She went to sleep on this side and when she woke up on the other side, she was welcomed by her father and mother, Vernon Hudson, Sr. and Joycelyn “Redd” Hudson; and two of her siblings, Shauntell Hudson Lofton and Larissa Ross.

Those she now watch over from above are her beloved significant other, Zen Harris; her only son, Joseph Hudson (Ana); her three daughters, Jeanetta Hudson (Shameka Justice), Latricia Hudson (Jeremy) and Fantasy M. Hudson; brothers, Terry Carroll, Phillip Smith and Vernon Hudson, Jr.;  sisters, Venette Meachem (Moses), Aurelia Carroll, Debra Carroll and Lesley Ross;  Eleven grandchildren, Treasure Williams, La’Asia Briscoe, Samarine Briscoe, Adolph Hudson, Bray’lon Williams, Brodrick Williams, Germani Walker, Ger’Amya Walker, Zari, Jacobi and Joseph “Joey” Hudson; the father of her children, Joseph Tucker and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
