So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God.  There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Cleaven (Cle) James Taylor, 59, died at 8:47 pm, Monday, March 12, 2018 at The VA Medical Center in Dallas, Texas surrounded by a host of friends and family.  He was born November 3, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas to Cleaven Taylor and Fredonia Mckensie.

Cle was a long time resident of Fort Worth and a proud Polytechnic High School graduate, Class of 1978.  He served in the United States Navy from July 1978 through January 1979.

He was employed by the United States Postal Services for over 20 years where he gained many accolades and recognitions.  Cle was retired at the time of his passing.

He loved to cook and barbeque while socializing with family and friends, and was often the life of the party.

Cle joined Mount Olive Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas in 2002 and was a devoted member until he departed this life.

Cleaven James Taylor leaves two beloved children, daughter LaTonya Marshall and son Marquece Taylor.  He also leaves to cherish his memories six siblings Rickey Taylor, Ronnie Taylor, Gerald Banks, Frederick (Voncille) Taylor, Steve (Joyce) Taylor, and Cheryl (Darryl) Taylor Jones; four grandchildren; former wife Irene Hennington; uncles, an aunt, nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and dear friends including his Polytechnic classmates and extended families.  Cle is preceded in death by his parents.
