Clara Beulah Smith was born on October 30, 1925, to the parentage of Johnnie B. and Estella Smith in Pelham, Texas. She attended school as well as accepting the Lord Jesus Christ, at an early, there in Pelham.

Clara worked at Leonards Brothers, of Fort Worth, for twenty-five years. Following her years of service there and seven years of service at Tom Peters, she retired.
